Disclaimer, Client Responsibility & Informed Consent

 

As a client, you are fully responsible for your own physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being, including any choices and decisions you make. 

 

By participating in services by Wild Astrology, you acknowledge that I am not a licensed psychologist or medical professional, and my services do not replace the care of psychotherapists and other healthcare professionals. Empowerment coaching, counselling astrology, and yoga are not intended to be construed as traditional counselling or any other type of therapy or medical advice. I am also not a psychic and therefore cannot predict specific events or outcomes. If your needs extend beyond my scope of practice, I will refer you to the appropriate service providers.

 

By consenting to engage in an astrological birth chart reading, workshop, course, class, or coaching service, you understand that we will potentially explore all areas of life. The method of astrology and coaching I practice may reveal insights that prompt physical sensations and emotional responses, lead you to encounter your depth, bring you face-to-face with your fears, motivate you to transform your life for the better and point out your resistance to change. If you feel triggered or uncomfortable at any point when working together, you are encouraged to let me know.

Although the topic of trauma and survival behaviours may be discussed as it relates to wounds and attachment patterns from childhood as it presents in the "now", we will not be exploring traumatic events. With your permission, strategies that involve self-inquiry, somatic experiences, yoga, and mindfulness may be integrated with the goal of strengthening access to your healthy self.

 

The intention is to help you gain greater understanding, expand awareness, receive validation, change detrimental patterns and feel empowered to take responsibility for making conscious decisions. We're aiming toward deep soul healing and personal transformation within a respectful, safe and supportive environment.

 

I will at all times exercise my best professional efforts, skills, and care. However, I cannot guarantee the outcome of my efforts and/or recommendations. I cannot make any guarantees other than to deliver the services purchased and do my very best to help you on your journey.

 

You have the right to ask any questions regarding the above and to withdraw your consent at any time. Consent guidelines will be reviewed with you during your session and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and set boundaries as desired. 

 

Confidentiality

Confidentiality of personal information is to be protected in all circumstances other than when information shared is of criminal activity, or if you and/or others seem to be in danger. In any of these situations, I will always discuss my thoughts and proposed actions with you.

​

In addition, by agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are providing consent for me to debrief findings from our session(s) with my colleagues and mentors for professional accountability and quality assurance. In any case, your personal information will remain anonymous.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

Life obligations and emergencies happen! Should you need to cancel a session, you may do so by providing at least 24 hours' notice in advance of your session and rescheduling your appointment. A $50 late cancellation fee may apply as readings require several hours of preparation. Missed appointments will be charged 50% of the lowest sliding scale rate.

 

Your investment is non-refundable.

 

Punctuality

 

Please arrive at your session prepared and on time. Time arrived late will not be reallocated. I suggest making sure that Zoom is installed on your device, and that your microphone and video camera are working properly BEFORE your session. Feel free to contact me if you need assistance with this.

Inclusivity

I have no tolerance for hate, discrimination, bullying, racism, and abuse. Any negative comments or messages will result in the termination of the service with no refund. Please be kind, open, and courteous. Strive to be ethical, socially conscious, and affirming for BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, and marginalized groups.
