AcuYoga: Water Element (10:00am - 12:15pm)

Here we are, in Water season—the season of longer nights, shorter days, and a profound inner calling to go slow, to rest, and to be. It is in this simple act of “being” that the “doing” is rebirthed; it is from this darkness that light re-emerges. Join us for AcuYoga: Water Edition—the beginning before the beginning; the point in the cycle where death and birth are one. Together, we will remember what we already know in our ancient bones—that being is enough, that going deep is necessary to rise high & that silence is sacred.

By bringing together yoga, acupuncture, wisdom & wonder,  AcuYoga aims to move the body, lift the spirit, and hold the human heart. It honours the individual journey and the power of healing in the community.

This AcuYoga event is designed to help us know & be still // befriend fear // strengthen the kidneys with:

• Opening discussion regarding the Water element in the depths of Winter
• 45-minute integrative yoga with Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) & Registered Yoga Teacher, Alex Albert
• 45-minute community acupuncture offering with Registered Acupuncturist, Vicki Rivard

Following registration, each participant will receive an email from Vicki with intake/consent forms to provide an individualized treatment based on TCM diagnosis.

One SLIDING SCALE ticket is available per session for folks who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints. Please contact us for this option.

No prior experience is required. All gender identities are welcome.

DISCLAIMER: Elemental work is deep work. We explore human topics that may evoke a wide range of feelings. Alex and Vicki always do their best to provide a supportive container with a trauma-informed approach and the use of resourcing skills to help participants establish a sense of grounding and internal safety. We travel the cycle together.
