AcuYoga: Slow Down, Soften, Surrender 💎 🫁 (12-2pm)

AcuYoga is the coming together of integrative yoga and community acupuncture. By incorporating yoga, mindfulness meditation, astrology, and five elemental theory, AcuYoga aims to move the body, lift the spirit, and hold the human heart. It honours the individual journey and the power of healing in the community.

Metal reconnects us to our Lungs and to the simple act of breathing. It reminds us that in every exhale, there lies an opportunity for letting go and for making space. It invites us to bravely surrender to the Great Mystery of life and death, and to honour the precious gold within it all.

This AcuYoga event is designed to help us slow down, soften, and surrender with:

• Opening remarks to befriend the Metal element and spiritual connection in the depths of Scorpio season
• 45-minute integrative gentle yoga with Astrologer, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Therapist (in training), Alex Albert
• 45-minute community acupuncture offering with Registered Acupuncturist, Vicki Rivard

DISCLAIMER: Elemental work is deep work. We explore human topics that may evoke difficult feelings. Alex and Vicki always do their best to provide a supportive container with a trauma-informed approach and the use of resourcing skills to help participants establish a sense of grounding and internal safety. We travel the cycle together.

Following registration, each participant will receive an email from Vicki with intake/consent forms to provide an individualized treatment based on TCM diagnosis.

Only 11 spots are available per time slot.

Two spots are available PRO BONO (one free ticket per time slot) for folks who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints.
