AcuYoga: Earth Element

As the bright light of mid-summer changes into the golden glow of late summer we, too, are asked to change, to shift, to return to centre—the centre of who we are and of what we truly want in this life.   As the garden gives us its harvest gifts we, too, are asked to give ourselves gifts—the gifts of consistent self-care and self-compassion.  As the honey slowly drips onto our tongue and sweetens our palate we, too, are asked to slow down and be sweet—sweet towards our brave selves who are asking, now, to be gently and lovingly nourished in mind, in body, and in spirit.  Join us for AcuYoga: Earth Edition as we parent and re-parent ourselves, remember our inherent worth, and honour our sacred body vessels that hold us (and heal us) as we continue to do the hard work / heart work of being alive.

By bringing together yoga, embodiment, acupuncture, wisdom & wonder,  AcuYoga aims to move the body, lift the Spirit, and hold the human Heart. It honours the individual journey and the power of healing in the community. Our intention is rooted in inner & outer reconnection and emotional healing.

AcuYoga: Earth Edition is designed to help us ground // cultivate compassion // support the Spleen as we slowly transition between seasons with:

• Opening discussion regarding the Earth element
• 45-minute gentle/restorative yoga with Registered Yoga Teacher, Alex Albert
• 45-minute community acupuncture offering with Registered Acupuncturist, Vicki Rivard
• Closing + take-home message

Following registration, each participant will receive an email from Vicki with intake/consent forms to provide an individualized treatment based on TCM diagnosis.

No prior experience is required. All gender identities are welcome.

2) Financial accessibility:  One SLIDING SCALE ticket is available for a human who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial constraints.

DISCLAIMER: Elemental work is deep work. We explore human topics that may evoke a wide range of feelings. Alex and Vicki always do their best to provide a supportive container with a trauma-informed approach and resourcing skills to help participants establish a sense of grounding and internal safety. We travel the cycle together.
